Club Information

The Boeing Windsurfing Club (BWC) operates all year long, with club outings mostly focused on the Spring and Summer months. Beginner lessons are offered during the months of June, July and August. Summer trips will be focused on local venues that include Puget Sound, Lake Wenatchee, Rimrock Lake, and the Gorge. Trips during the winter months could include excotic locaitons such as Aurba, Maui, or Baja.

Clubmeetings are held at the Boeing Oxbow Recreation Center roughly once a month unless lessons are taking place.

Beginner Lessons are taught at of Gene Coulon Memorial Park and at Newcastle Beach Park during the months of June, July and August. Beginner lessons are designed to teach you everything you will need to know to get into the sport of windsurfing. Students are taught the basics from balance, uphaul, tack, and self recue. Space is limited, so sign up fast.

Are you past beginning windsurfing? Are you an intermediate sailor looking for sailing buddies, trips, or something more? BWC is still for you. If you’ve progressed beyond the basics and are looking to advance your technique, BWC offers trips of all sorts that will help you attain the windsurfing nirvana of planing.
